The candidate will join a talented team of scientists and engineers located in Chicago, Boston, Vancouver and Krakow, Poland in the Chief Technology Office at Motorola Solutions working on developing missioncritical AI solutions for our public safety and commercial customers. Our mission is to provide meaningful value to MSIs customers by developing domainspecific applications and services in the areas of Speech & Audio, Machine Translation, Natural Language Understanding and Computer Vision.
Our AI team is focused on all aspects of 1 designing, prototyping and developing solutions algorithms and architectures for object detection, classification etc., 2 Machine Learning training and optimization distributed training and inference acceleration and 3 data tools for data acquisition, annotation both human and machinepowered, data pipelines and supporting ML infrastructure. Were excited about the work we are doing in AI. We often describe it as Mission Critical AI because our approach is founded on our many years of Public Safety and Video Security experience and knowledge. We know the missioncritical needs of our customers are unique and different from the most consumer technologies that leverage AI today.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Implement Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms in C43;43; under the supervision of senior members of the team.
Evaluate Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms such as object detection, classification and tracking.
Develop and maintain Python scripts for performance visualization and evaluation of the algorithms.
Train and evaluate Deep Learning models such as object detectors and classifiers.
Required Skills
Senior year for undergraduate or master students in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
Solid programming, debugging and problem solving skills.
143; years of experience in C43;43;.
Familiarity with Object Oriented design, common design patterns, and data structures.
Desired Skills
Handson experience in developing, deploying, and improving Computer Vision and Machine Learning models and algorithms.
Knowledge in image processing, object detection, classification and tracking.
Proficiency in C43;43; and Python.
Basic Requirements
Must be pursuing a minimum of a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Information Systems, or relevant field with a graduation date of December 2023 or later.
