H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). The Software Engineer will provide Software Development and Code Support to NSWCCD.

The Software Engineer responsibilities will include:

• Providing support for software applications and scripts
• Developing and maintaining web applications
• Developing and maintaining Oracle Databases
• Migrating the functionality of existing in-house developed software applications to other platforms, languages, or software architectures

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications / Certifications:

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in:

• Software design using object-oriented methodologies
• Proficient in .NET, C++, Java, and/or Perl
• Demonstrated expertise in development of Web applications
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax
• Expertise in database design with a proficiency in Oracle 11g

• One (1) of the following certifications
  • • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
    • CompTIA Security+ (CE)
    • CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst+ (CySA+)
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
    • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
    • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
    • Certified Network Defender (CND)
    • Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Associate (CISSP or CISSA)
    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
• Certification or training in Microsoft Operating system

• Shall possess Microsoft intermediate level certification (such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate) and shall obtain the most current intermediate level training during the entire PoP of the TO.
