Job Description
JOB TITLE: Associate Engineer
WORKSITE LOCATION: King of Prussia, PA
JOB DUTIES:
Analyze traffic volumes and geometry to identify traffic needs and recommend improvements. Develop spreadsheets and reports to present the analysis findings and attend required meetings with the client. Use real-time traffic counts and travel demand models to forecast future traffic for a minimum of 20 years ahead. Perform crash analysis for the study area to identify trends and safety deficiencies. Recommend improvements and quantify safety benefits using Crash Modification factors. Perform analysis to identify the required geometry for a study area to support the feasibility group identify the cost of the project. Adjust traffic signal timings to improve traffic flow along a corridor. Analyze traffic signal timings and geometry required to safely and efficiently move traffic through construction zones. Calculate minimum timings required at an intersection and design signal plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field plus 1 year of experience as an Associate Engineer or a related occupation
