AT&T has an opening for a Network Engineer to support the National Security Public Sector.
The job duties of the Network Engineer are as follows:
- Design and implement computer and information networks, such as base area networks (BAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other data communications networks.
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Design network and computer security measures.
- Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
- Establishes and maintains network performance by building configurations and connections and troubleshooting network problems.
- Defines, designs, and develops system requirements.
- Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Oversees design of subsystems and integration of total system.
- Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies.
- Develops independent technical investigations in systems design.
- Oversees and consolidates design efforts on major projects.

Required Qualifications:
IAM (Level III) certified as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of training; certifications; work and/or military experience.

Our Network Engineer’s earn between $55,400 - $130,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
