Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated person to join Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC) and work in a diverse, open, and transparent culture, where you will contribute to powering the next generation of Fidelity’s digital services through innovative solutions using the latest cloud native technologies and pioneering engineering practices.
As the Squad Lead / Product Owner of ECC Enterprise ALM Source Code Management Platforms, you will be an integral member of the dynamic cloud computing team continuously innovating and improving our capabilities to enable the acceleration of Fidelity’s journey to the cloud. You will blend a deep level of expertise with a passion and energy for delivering results, collaborating with the developer community, and building the aligned roadmap and priorities. You will be responsible for the Software Management platforms which include Source Code Management e.g. BitBucket, GitHub and Artifact Repository Management e.g. Artifactory.
In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, define resource requirements, and bring the squad together to execute on specific deliverables.
You will ensure alignment on the “what” and “when” of the work performed by the squad through ongoing planning and prioritization, to enable the team to work iteratively, experiment where necessary, celebrate successes, and learn from failures. You are passionate about representing the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure product team members understand their needs and preferences. You will partner with other product teams to make tradeoffs that improve overall value to our customers.
You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
The Expertise You Have
Demonstration of working in a Squad Leader / Product Owner role
Technical understanding of source code management systems such as Bitbucket and GitHub
Technical understanding of source code security scanning systems such as Mend (Whitesource) or others
Experience in systems or platform engineering using IAC, Kubernetes and Cloud
Experience with automation solutions for enabling partners, accelerating adoption, and improving developer experience
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
Strong customer focus and customer engagement experience
Proven experience in capturing/writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
Experience using Jira, Jira Align, Confluence and all Microsoft Office Tools

Defining, refining, and communicating the mission of the product to the team members and other partners
Anticipating, discovering, and prioritizing business partner needs to serve as the voice of the customer and guide execution of the team
Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments to making progress
Defining, communicating, and evaluating deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria
Lead product backlog and work daily with the engineering team to ensure alignment on the vision, goals, and priorities of the product
Be a core contributor during sprint planning and sprint review meetings, as well as participate in other traditional scrum ceremonies
Break down epic-level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team
Continuously and clearly connect with internal partners the prioritization of the Product Backlog and the status of development efforts via Product Demos, Release Plans and other means
Develop feedback loops to validate the most critical product changes prior to implementation and solicit ideas for new functionality
Define, prioritize, and drive the realization of specific product vision
Coordinate and analyze user feedback, user behavior (quantitative and qualitative), competitors, and market trends
Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines
Be ever present for the team, empower team members and cultivate an inclusive team culture
