Overview:
Title: Agile Software Developer
Location: Remote Work Authorized-DC/MD/VA
Clearance: Public Trust

Foxhole Technology is looking to add an Agile Software Developer to our team and on a newly awarded contract to support the full design, development, integration, testing, training, and deployment of an agency-wide, automated revenue management system (RMS) to increase operational efficiencies, improve data quality and reporting, and develop business intelligence and customer service capabilities. This position will be remote work authorized in state's that Foxhole has establised business.
Job Description:
  • Lead or participate in Agile Sprints to elicit, identify/refine, document, and develop requirements for the automated RMS
  • Support the documentation of preliminary design for each incremental release and develop user stories for implementation
  • Conduct or participate in sprint planning reviews with government and stakeholder personnel
  • Implement SecDevOps practices to increase the integrity, reliability, and security of the RMS design and development
  • Apply agile best practices to manage requirements backlogs, tasks, issues, and defects
  • Lead or participate in daily scrums with government, stakeholder, and team staff to synchronize activities
  • Incrementally code, build, construct, and configurate a testable software solution that meets government operational and system performance parameters
  • Support the development of the dev environment to enable continuous integration; the application and database layers; and the training environment
  • Develop or prepare design artifacts including technical specifications, design diagrams, user guides, O&M manuals, and installation guides
  • Prepare and execute test plans; report all results to relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training to enable users to develop the skills requisite to effectively operate the RMS
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust suitability determination
  • Active DHS clearance is strongly desirable
  • 7+ years IT experience
  • Must have 2+ years’ experience in DevSecOps
  • Must have 4+ years’ experience in Agile software development
  • Must have experience implementing project management principles and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents, and tasks through completion.
  • Strong preference for demonstrated experience in developing or managing financial or revenue management software and/or applications
  • Must have experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical concepts.
  • Experience programming in Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, and .NET applications.
  • Experience programming with front-end development frameworks, such as Angular and React.
  • Experience with front-end web design, such as HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, Material Design, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with modern software development processes, including DevOps-CI/CD, containerization (Docker), cloud deployment (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, and microservice architecture.
  • Database design and development, including SQL-based, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server OS.
Desired Experience/Certifications:
  • Strongly desired experience working within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) IT space
  • Strongly desired experience and understanding of DHS Enterprise Architecture and Federal Information System Security standards
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
