Neurodegenerative Disease Informatics Research Technician
Job Description
Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Neurodegenerative Disease Informatics Research Technician will assist in computational and statistical analyses in multiple projects in the lab, including maintenance of our next-generation sequencing pipelines using PERL, Python and R languages. You will work closely with lab members to integrate transcriptomics with genomics and epigenomics to better understand how genes work together at a quantitative and systems biology level to alter risk for neurodegenerative disorders. This will include, but not be limited to, analyzing data related to neurodegeneration from human tissue samples, stem cell and animal models. You will also provide updates to lab Github repository and lab website. Proficiency with coding in R and python and biostatistics is required. Additional training in transcriptomics and bioinformatic analysis including single cell analysis performed in the Rexach lab will be provided. Salary range: $26.20-$51.39 Hourly
