Full Stack Developer

The Florida Bar (TFB), with more than 110,000 members, is the statewide professional and regulatory organization for lawyers. TFB’s IT Department is looking for a skilled web developer who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for TFB. This position will be working alongside a team of other developers in creating, maintaining, and updating our websites.

Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field (additional related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis) and two (2) years of web development, administration and support experience is required. Work experience needs to include:

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience using Content Management Systems such as WordPress
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
