Senior Software Engineer/Architect needed to assess and create the following:

• Application Development Diagram

o Create a full Application Development physical diagram 

Need servers with applications/services/databases that reside on each and needs to be in diagram form to have relationships 

Build out production version 

Build out dev (lower environment) version 

Easily identify dev dependencies on production items

• Database Dependencies Document/Map

o Create document/list/map that identifies: 

Stored Procedures that use cross database queries 

Stored Procedures that use Linked Servers 

Views that use cross database queries 

Views that use Linked Servers 

Functions that use cross database queries 

Functions that use Linked Servers

• Identify New Services to be Created

o After completion or enough work has been done on above “Database Dependencies Document/Map” in conjunction with the “Application Development Diagram” create a list of Services to be developed with: 

Prioritization 

Expected usage statistics 

Identified consumers (applications or other services) and update the “Application Development Diagram” with future state version

• Develop Plan and Begin Implementation of Identified Services

o Update the “Application Development Diagram” with future state version with at least the top 10 prioritized new services

o Document and present architectural implementation options 

Can these be Cloud based? 

What is the security and framework/standard? 

How will each option be monitored and what will be the alerts/thresholds?

o Once implementation option is selected create initial Service and provide rollout plan
