Workday's Content Generation Platform teams empowers our customers with a set of immersive experience products intent on making Workday data more approachable and usable. Drawing on familiar paradigms from the consumer world, this team strives to help our users leverage Workday data at scale in a more familiar and friendly environment.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer III at Workday, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Java server-side components of our cloud applications. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Java and related technologies

Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code that adheres to software development best practices

Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, designers to deliver software that meets customer needs

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Debug and solve issues as they arise in production environments

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in server-side development and apply them to improve our products
About You
Basic Qualifications
-
3+ years of proven experience in software development using Java
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Other Qualifications
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services is a plus
-
Familiarity with JavaScript and web development is a plus

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
