Job Description
Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this person will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of various websites and web based applications. The Software Engineer must have a strong understanding of web development lifecycles and should be able to write clean, efficient and well documented code.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain applications using .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL language, MS SQL SERVER and web services
- Gather and analyze requirements and estimate project timeliness
- Work directly with Designers, Front End Developers and end users to produce code required for end product
- Adopt new technologies and recommendations on future technologies available in “web based” solutions
- Peer review code and make recommendations for improvements
- Continuous professional development
- Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Web Development.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- A minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
- Required: Demonstrated proficiency in C#, VB.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and willing to learn and “do what it takes” to get the job done
