Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Be part of a world class team and help us build/test Modern UI at ServiceNow
- Get exposure to web components and how they are used in applications
- Become well versed in techniques/practices for testing reusable web components/custom elements
- Participate in design, development and delivery of new UI components
- Collaborate with designers to review and understand design patterns, usage and consistency goals
- Collaborate with development and product management and participate in all technical aspects of deliverables, including:
- Designing and implementing comprehensive functional/API tests for UI web components
- Designing and implementing Accessibility and I18N test strategies
- Designing and developing sample test applications using UI components to verify functional requirements
- Designing and developing automated test cases as needed
- Defining performance metrics for web components
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- At least 4+ year of experience in testing web applications
- Hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML, JSON, Sass & CSS
- Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as polymer, react
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Experience with WCAG/Accessibility testing
- Experience with I18N testing
- Experience with JavaScript/Java testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Playwright, Karma, Selenium etc
- Good understanding of UX/Interaction Design principles
Nice to have:
- Experience in performance testing and measurement
- Previous web application development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $106,020 - $180,180, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
