IT Audit Manager
Job Description
Due to growth within our Information Technology (IT) Audit and Assurance practice, we are seeking an IT Audit Senior to join our team. Purvis, Gray & Company, LLP is seeking a candidate to work at one of our several locations throughout the state of Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely part-time depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. If remote work is agreed upon, this position could entail in-person work at times that would require the candidate to come to the office as needed for specific projects.
The ideal candidate will work on engagements providing assurance, consulting, and compliance services in the areas of:
- Assessments of IT General Controls for compliance or financial audit requirements
- SOC 1,2 and 3 engagements
- IT Risk and/or Gap Assessments
- Attestation engagements
As the IT Audit Senior, you will perform IT general control assessments, SOC 1 and 2 engagements, and other attestation engagements under the supervision of the IT Audit Manager. The skillsets desired include the ability to:
- Prepare work papers ensuring conforming to the firm’s quality control standards.
- Identify control weaknesses and make recommendations.
- Prepare each engagement’s test plan in collaboration with the IT audit management team.
- Work with clients throughout the process.
- Perform multiple projects.
- Work with the financial audit teams and support their efforts.
- Assist in the Preparation of professional reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, accounting, or information systems related fields
- 2+ years IT Audit experience
- CISA required, other IT certifications preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of information system internal controls
- Knowledge of data analysis software (not required but helpful)
- Knowledge of cloud environments and supporting technologies
- Experience with performing SOC 1 and 2 reporting engagements (not required but helpful)
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, & OSX operating systems
- Ability to travel when needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,587.95 - $85,000.00 per year
