Successful candidate will serve as a primary Technician/Integration member assigned to the SSDS program on the AFMS technical support Team. Candidate will oversee and organize equipment (hardware) installation, de-installation and modification support. Provide multilevel/lateral Team support for integration of all existing and new Lab equipment configurations and activations, (e.g. interface w/software support group, test operations personnel and engineering design support group, etc.). Must have flexibility/availability to work various shifts and accommodate weekend overtime.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Operational (shipboard) maintenance experience and/or military/civilian technical training related to this position may be considered
  • Familiar with troubleshooting/repair practices
  • Must be willing to work overtime and shift work (including weekends) as directed by immediate manager
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Must be a team player with excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work centers
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Aegis system equipment elements and operational enhancements
  • Equipment dispositions and Lab Stand ups (Rack & Stack)
  • Knowledge of Visio, and Cable Block Diagrams
  • Property Management (PROP) experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products: Excel, Word, Access and Power Point Software, as well as UNIX, and Linux operating systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
