As a rapidly growing company, we need qualified IT talent to support fast growing business at ACT. After several years of outsourcing our IT systems, we started to build on our own in-house IT team in 2019. Our IT team is responsible for the global IT landscape within the company and desires to further strengthen the solid base that has already been laid out. We continuously evolve in all the segments of the IT areas to fulfil the constant demands of the trading floor and bring new techniques and technologies for efficient trading. Together we can pioneer and innovate on a global scale and help further strengthen the market leader position of ACT.

What you'll be doing

  • Part of global IT support team supporting departments of ACT Trading and "go-to" person for daily IT infra and applications related issues.
  • Good understanding of day to day Desktop/Laptops support along with Microsoft applications suite.
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Azure for user administration along with dynamics and PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Basic understanding and troubleshooting of networks and infra related issues for daily production support.
  • Coordination with business teams/ third party vendors/Development team for bug fixing and enhancements in the trading applications.
  • Good understanding of incident/Problem management
  • Understanding of products like JIRA/Confluence or similar tools for ticketing and creating knowledge repositories.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT & Business or equivalent
  • Five or more years of experience in IT preferably in financial services industry with ITIL certification preferred.
  • Very good communication skills along with strong customer focus and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and troubleshooting skills with "extra-mile" strive for the results.
  • MCSE and/or Azure and ITIL certifications are preferred
  • Experience on creating and updating the PowerShell Scripts for automation with AD/Azure cloud, Sharepoint and exchange online
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the support and other related teams with preferably JIRA/Confluence tools or any other similar tools
  • willing to commute to our NY office 4 times a week

Salary Range: $100k-115k
