Job Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in designing and developing innovative solutions that are valued by our customers, simplify tasks for users, and improve the performance of their business. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand real-world problems in our domain, manage technical development of software from inception through user acceptance, and recommend new solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development versus purchasing and/or integrating alternatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of new applications and improvements to existing ones in performance, capability, and reliability
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand real-world problems in our domain
- Manage technical development of software from inception through user acceptance, including projects that affect multiple departments and/or pose high-risk situations
- Evolve problem statements into actionable items that deliver measurable value
- Demonstrate ownership of initiatives and drive them through to completion
- Recommend new solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development versus purchasing and/or integrating alternatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our business
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high quality code and adherence to coding standards
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Provide timely and accurate status updates on software development progress to project managers and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in developing software programs; or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Strong knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of MySQL
- Strong HTML knowledge
- Strong knowledge building applications using RESTful APIs
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools, like Jira
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and deliver measurable results
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Eager to dig into problems and bring proposed solutions to group discussion
- Open to feedback and able to creatively adapt multiple ideas into a solution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Full Stack Developering, or equivalent experience in similar fields

- Experience with Laravel
- Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
