Core Responsibilities

• Hands-on repair & preventive maintenance of equipment, buildings/facilities
• Perform instrumentation installation, troubleshooting, repair, & calibrations
• Conduct ongoing PLC troubleshooting and repairs, as well as programming
• Installs machinery, pipes, and pumps; Troubleshoot, repair, replace VFD’s
• Oversee/Maintain existing process control systems; Designs new systems
• Performs Air Permit inspections and maintenance of equipment as assigned
• Participates in Safety Committee, and other HSE improvement activities

What You Bring to the Role

• Must currently reside in the greater Augusta, GA area
• High school diploma or GED; College degree a plus
• 10+ years of relevant experience in an industrial plant setting
• 5+ years of experience in PLC troubleshooting, repairs, and programming
• Both in-shop and field experience
• High Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation aptitude
• Able and willing to be part of an on-call rotation (1 week out of every 5)
• Experience within chemical environments (liquids, pumps, fans, conveyance systems, etc.) is a big plus
• Collaboration skills are a must – intra-team and across the business
• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt is essential
• Safety-conscious

Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
