Salary Range: $64,000-$75,000

OVERVIEW
The Marine division is a highly collaborative team. With a group of design specialists and full-time underwater inspectors, we offer a special skillset to achieve client preferences.
We are looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented engineer with strong communication skills and an interest in design and analysis in support of coastal, ocean, port and river projects. Typical deliverables will include preparation of contract drawings and specifications, calculation submission packages, permit applications, design basis reports, cost estimates, and reports (e.g. condition assessment, alternatives analysis, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural, geotechnical, and/or coastal analyses using applicable engineering software (e.g. MathCAD, LPile, RISA, SAP2000, STWAVE, etc.). Typical structures include: piers, bulkheads, bridges, ferry terminals, breakwaters, etc.
- Analyze deteriorated components in order to assess remaining capacities.
- Prepare plans, designs, drawings, specifications, calculations and cost estimates.
- Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners on multidiscipline design/engineering projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Coastal, or Ocean Engineering
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification acquired by start date.
- Experience with modeling software: RISA 3D, RAM Structural System, SAFE, SAP2000, etc.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong attention to detail
- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
- Good planning, organizational and time management skills
