Teladoc Health, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer ((Multiple Openings)) at its facility located at 2 Manhattanville Rd, Purchase, NY 10577. Lead projects for the team including grooming and sizing requirements, designing solutions, and defining Project Plans. Working closely with product leads, program managers, and stakeholders to define product scope and deadlines using an agile, continuous planning process. Work with internal teams to architect, design, develop, and maintain our applications. Cultivating a productive, strong, and happy culture within the team and broader R&D organization. Providing updates, recommendations, and advocacy to leadership on behalf of the department. Adhere to existing coding standards and design patterns. Defining new technical initiatives, continually streamlining engineering processes, and acting as the backstop on technical direction when needed. Answer technical project questions from other teams and attend and provide feedback for project designs. Have a good working understanding of dependencies between responsible projects and other parts of the platform. Active code contributor and Perform code reviews of team members. Understand deployment strategy to all development and production environments. Build proof-of-concept solutions to quickly prove designs. Attend client-facing calls as a technical resource. 100% telecommuting.

REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field with 5 years of work experience in web or mobile software development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1). Designing and implementing iOS & Android Mobile User Experience for Patient and Provider Portals using Xamarin & XCode; (2). Designing and building a scalable microservice for consumer and clinical applications utilizing C# and a POSTGRES database; (3). Designing and implementing Restful & GraphQL APIs to support client and server communication; (4). Adapting a Ruby middleware layer to support new features between client and server, including translating dynamic JSON for a client rendering engine; (5). Integrating with DAPR to provide event-driven subscriptions to other services; and (6). Defining new technical initiatives, continually streamlining engineering processes, and acting as the backstop on technical direction when needed in support for the team.
