We are looking for a qualified GBS Help Desk Associate to showcase their dynamic skills. The GBS Help Desk Associate works directly with the Procurement departments, end-users, vendors, and systems support on a variety of issues and concerns. Inbound calls are received and responses are provided to vendors and/or UPSers promptly and with accuracy.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Communicates extensively with internal and external customers, along with UPS suppliers, via phone and/or email
• Researches statement issues and updates supplier invoices within procurement systems, like Oracle and Ariba
• Administers and resets access and passwords for Procurement Services Web, iProcurement, iExpense, Oracle, Ariba, Information Library, and Entra
• Responds to and resolves inquiries from customers and UPS Retail Stores
• Assists with follow up and general research for invoice issues and other inquiries
• Serves as a liaison for Accounts Payable and Procurement departments regarding the AP Reject system and Websir
• Interacts with users regarding Procurement cards and AMEX, and system issues, concerns, and enhancement needs
• Helps field with Oracle location codes and combinations
• Aids with supply returns, emergency orders, and vendor/item lookups

Knowledge and Skills

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and the purchase order and payment processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-centered focus
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access
• Oracle and Ariba experience - Preferred
