WHAT YOU WILL DO
:

  • Coordinates with a Project Manager (if assigned)

    • Works with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs Plans and schedules finite engineering work package for installation
    • Supports and QC's the project installation plan and it's follow through.
    • Provides field support and on the job training for any technician that require any product related technical training, MCA application standards training, or time management and development
    • Responsible for handling any technical aspect that prove to be outside of the capabilities of our technicians.
    • Responsible for all QA/QC activities and the generation of the final punch list for system commissioning.
    • Interfaces with the decision maker of our customer as needed and supports the team's goals in that relationship
    • Routinely walks jobs site to ensure quality installation of Company product
    • Provide hands on technical and job standards training in the field Responsible for the verification and upkeep for any personal industry licensing/registration requirements within the jurisdiction any project development may take them.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
:

    • Five years of experience in the engineering and installation of Electronic Security Systems, or related field.
    • Will possess a strong knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals, MCA operational standards.
    • Be able to maintain a neat, orderly, and well-maintained work environment for self and staff both in office and in field to insure productivity and safety
    • Be able to produce support and design documentation to insure an effective deliverable
    • Be able to work on site conditions typical to construction environments Be able to travel with possible extended stay out of town.

    • Be able to relay information in a comprehensive manner to different audiences


WORKING CONDITIONS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear, utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend / descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
