Summary
IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is the affiliate of IDEMIA which is a multi-billion-dollar company that has a multitude of products and systems to support security and identity credentialing. Our deep understanding of biometric, biographic, credential, and digital forms of identity allows us to guide our clients to achieve their business goals. NSS’ leading software systems; data and analytics offerings; and professional services facilitate and automate many of the business processes for government agencies serving law enforcement, military, and intelligence missions.
NSS is seeking to find a Software Developer that will support a specific program that supports a key federal customer.
Core Responsibilities
- Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
- Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
- Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
- Designs embedded systems software.
- Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen.
- Cannot be a dual citizen.
- Possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with one or more of the following software languages: C#/.NET, Java, or Python
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, etc.)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented architecture and design
- Experience building customer facing software
- Experience designing and developing client-side, server-side, and database components for new application features using C#/.NET, Web API, SQL Server, jQuery, Knockout.js (or similar framework), JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
- Experience with SQL Server
- Solid understanding of Git
- Practical experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
