BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Web Applications Developer (junior-level) to support the NATO Seasparrow Project Office. The position will support modernization and new development of mission critical applications to help the customer gain insight into available data with a project management focus. The junior developer will work closely with the principle developer to achieve goals set by an information management team following an agile practice.

BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Web Applications Developer (junior-level) to support the NATO Seasparrow Project Office. The position will support modernization and new development of mission critical applications to help the customer gain insight into available data with a project management focus. The junior developer will work closely with the principle developer to achieve goals set by an information management team following an agile practice.
- Work with Product Owners and other team members to translate the requirements into final deliverables.
- Understand and utilize the latest tools, technologies, and trends in web development.
- Ensure the deliverables meet BAE, NATO and DoD standards, and guidelines.
- Work closely with the existing development team while having the opportunity to find data or workflow gaps and make your own mark on the organization.
- Add feature upgrades and integrations to existing applications.
- Build new applications from the ground up.
- Spearhead digitization for various contract, financial and project management functions.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent study.
- At least 2 years of JavaScript experience and knowledge of at least one JavaScript Framework (React, Vue, Angular etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience with HTML and CSS.
- At least 2 years of experience with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of GIT, NPM, NodeJs and VSCode.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to hold a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol.
- Knowledge of the Agile software development methodology.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database structures.
