WHO IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Customer Service Technician contributes to Regal’s mission of excellence by demonstrating a true passion for customer service and satisfaction. This individual will work alongside the Customer Service Team to perform a variety of warranty related repairs on campus and at remote locations including dealerships, private residences and marinas. This individual will have an immediate impact by:
Repairing and replacing component parts, including but not limited to: cabinetry, canvas, electrical, upholstery, head and hull liner
Potentially being required to perform services on drive train, generator or navigational electronics
Repairing voids, cracks, scratches, chips and some structural problems in gel by cutting out defects, applying repair materials, buffing and polishing repairs.
Sanding, re-spraying and buffing surface profile imperfections.
Dis-assembling and reassembling parts onto the boat per the description of the Sales order, by using the correct tools and proper methods to attain the correct standard in the installation.
Removing and installing transom hardware, bilge equipment, ballast tanks, deck wiring, deck hardware, stereo, and helm assemblies as required for each job
In final finish, cleaning, use of sealant, solvents, shrink wrap, use of light hand tools, installation of logos and basic graphics and basic use of a buffer.
And all other duties as assigned.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

MUST HAVES
Be able to safely use a variety of hand tools, razor knives, scissors, power tools, and overhead hoists/cranes.
Possess or be able to obtain captains license (reimbursed by company)
Must have strong attention to detail
Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits.
Must follow all safety standards and procedures
Must adhere to all quality standards
Must be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other
Must be able to work alone at times without direct onsite supervision
Able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Experience working with fiberglass and resin
Willingness to travel sometimes with little notice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with PC using Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs
Good Time Management skills in order to schedule and complete work in a timely and efficient manner
Valid driver license and good driving record, ability and willingness to travel, domestically and internationally. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions, normal office environments or factory environments that are not climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The factory in certain areas maintains a high fiberglass and dust environment.

Personal Protective Equipment might be required in certain areas of the factory including but not limited to safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, gloves and protective garments.

Employees in safety-sensitive positions must report to work fit for duty and must remain fit for duty throughout their work day. To be fit for duty, the employee must not be impaired by alcohol, illicit drugs, or medication.
