Job Description
Under limited supervision, develop and implement electrical engineering projects, specifications, plans, and designs for additions, modifications and improvements to manufacturing equipment and plant facilities. Assist with manufacturing equipment problem solving, control systems reliability, data collection and analysis.

Prior experience with life cycle project management from concept, design, quote, manage, review scope, test, follow-up and release to production. Prior project management experience dealing with scopes of work in excess of the $5 -$10 million dollar range are preferred. Responsible for overseeing capital budget projects for U.S. Pipe locations.

Candidates must have experience in the design and implementation of complex automation systems components and architectures. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required with Professional Engineering registration a plus. Seven to ten years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired, preferably in the foundry or steel industry but not a requirement.

Physical requirements/Working Conditions

The employee will be working in both an office and foundry environment and will be working throughout the plant exposing the employee to Foundry operations. The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles. The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
