Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Software Engineer Senior. Perform software engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of custom web applications, largely around authentication, authorization, and identity-related products; design, implement, automate, and support all aspects of the product; participate in the architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of software solutions; develop new applications, improve current systems and bring new capabilities to our customers; contribute to our automated test suite, including unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests in labs and QA environments; improve current functionality and bring new features to the software platform. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information System Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, or Telecommunications Engineering plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or closely related software engineering role.

Must Have: Experience in at least four (4) of the following skills: Object Oriented Programming, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle/MySQL DB, REST, Spring, Git, SVN, JUnit, Jira, Unit shell scripting, SAP, Networking
