The Video Engineering Data Infrastructure team is working on exciting technologies for future Apple products, and we're looking for the right Full Stack Developer to join our team to help develop our next generation systems. In this role, you'll work on a highly dynamic team that designs and implements data management systems for powering computer vision and deep learning real time video products like FaceID, ARKit and Animoji. You will be working with experts in machine learning to develop tools, automation and pipelines to analyze and validate massive amounts of data.
Key Qualifications
- +2 years of Python
- +2 years of Django Framework
- +1 year of front end experience HTML/CSS/JS
- +1 Years experience with a major cloud platform e.g. AWS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Mature engineering practices, attention to detail and testing
- Comfortable with Git, REST API’s, GraphQL, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Comfortable dealing with big data over a petabyte in size
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated software engineer with experience in cloud technologies, who can build tools to process data from a wide range of computer vision systems. As an engineer on our team, your work provides the data foundation for a highly collaborative team of hardware, user experience, and deep learning experts. We are looking for engineers that have a high attention to detail, and who can abstract these details into framework level software solutions. This position requires someone who has a passion for data integrity and is privacy-minded. Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and test web applications and REST APIs. Build and maintain video processing pipelines, analyze and monitor system performance, represent our team within multi-functional groups.
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,000 and $177,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
