This position is with the F-35 International Production Engineering Team as a Tooling Integrator. This candidate’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
o Incorporation of required Change Notices
o Coordination of production tooling to Control Tooling
o Coordinate when Co-Producer can change a LMCO provided Control Tool at LMCO direction
o Assign new tool numbers for the Co-Producers request when approved by the customer/program management.
o Obtain funding from the customer by providing justification on Production Non Recurring / STATE listing
o Support customer Fact Finding missions on the requested tooling for justification and budget
o Create Scheduling Change Request’s for BFT tooling or coordinate with SME ME’s at other facilities to obtain budget and get Tool Request Forms written
o Create Tool Orders for BFT tooling or coordinate with SME ME’s at other facilities to obtain budget and get TRF’s written
o Support Development of Build to packages for the Supplier to make BFT tooling

- Research and answer questions or coordinate with tooling and equipment SME’s to get Co-Producer answers on:
o Incorporation of required Change Notices
o Coordination of production tooling to Control Tooling
o Coordinate when Co-Producer can change a LMCO provided Control Tool at LMCO direction
o Assign new tool numbers for the Co-Producers request when approved by the customer/program management.
- Define Tooling Requirements when Buyer Furnished Tooling (BFT) is requested by the Co-Producer
o Obtain funding from the customer by providing justification on Production Non Recurring / STATE listing
o Support customer Fact Finding missions on the requested tooling for justification and budget
o Create Scheduling Change Request’s for BFT tooling or coordinate with SME ME’s at other facilities to obtain budget and get Tool Request Forms written
o Create Tool Orders for BFT tooling or coordinate with SME ME’s at other facilities to obtain budget and get TRF’s written
o Support Development of Build to packages for the Supplier to make BFT tooling
- Support Quality with First Article Inspection (FAI) / Product Process Verification (PPV) Development
- Travel as needed to support tooling and equipment Supplier efforts and CoProducer needs in support of contract
- Aid with corrective actions at the Co-Producer on tooling and equipment related issues
- Coordinate technical issues between Co-Producer and LMCO
- Attend weekly Co-Producer/LM telecoms
- Assist when appropriate to create Co-Producer work around plans
- Investigate process, methods and tooling to identify impacts of LMCO Affordability and Improvement Projects at Co-Producers
- The candidate must be able to research engineering drawings, tool designs, Quality Assurance Record (QAR) /Supplier QARs, and answer Electronic Supplier Problem and Resolution (ESPAR) report from suppliers. The Candidate must be able to communicate with overseas Co-producers and be able to understand the problem without being onsite. The Candidate must be able to communicate with appropriate discipline to suggest resolutions to the supplier’s problems.
- The Candidate will be responsible for communicating all LMCO tooling changes with the CoProducer and be able to communicate with DCMA/JPO on all issues that arise involving tooling configuration.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience using PDM, MS Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Word
- Experience working with multiple disciplines: Quality, Test, Design, Process, Fabrication, Tooling, Planning &/or Supply Chain Management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of SAP, IMPACTS, CAPP/SFM, QADS, VAS, CATIA, MS Office - Access, Maximo is a plus
- Possess experience giving persuasive presentations
- Knowledge of F-35 production line practices and requirements
- Previous experience working with International CoProducers
- Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills in a team environment
