Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to support the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) primarily working on the F-16. The current F-16 Programs are adding/upgrading to some cutting edge technologies, especially with the latest Block 70/72 versions. A brand new F-16 production line has been stood up and lots of orders for new F-16 are in our backlog. Our team has plenty of work for the foreseeable future.
In this role, you will develop flight test run cards and test procedures based on system requirements, conduct avionics software and hardware integration testing in a laboratory environment for avionics capabilities including Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI), Data Link, Radar/Sensors, Stores/Weapons, Displays, and Mission Computer systems. The position also includes the support of other IPT-activities affected by system and flight test integration including flight test operations, instrumentation, production aircraft delivery, test station, software, training systems, subsystem weapons, support equipment, and T.O. development. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aircraft avionics troubleshooting and testing.
Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Some shift work (2nd / 3rd) is required to support program, flight test, and lab schedules. Some travel will be required both domestically and potentially internationally. Travel can be between 10%-20% of the year.

Fort Worth, TX
This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or similar STEM Degree
- Physically able to access aircraft cockpit, test fixtures and conduct lab testing for typical 6-hour test shifts.
- F-16 aircraft avionics experience including but not limited to Communication, Navigation, Data Link, Radar/Sensors, Displays, Mission Computers, A-G weapons, Universal Armament Interface (UAI), and Electronic Warfare (EW)
- Experience operating in an agile environment including Scrum Master and Product Owner roles
- Proficient in data analysis, problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
