This position is assigned to F-35 Flight Test at Edwards AFB. Selected candidates will be responsible for heavy modifications and maintenance planning and implementation for assigned F-35 flight test aircraft at Edwards AFB. The primary roles and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, planning and executing major modifications, managing resources and personnel, shaping and reporting schedule position/progress and coordinating with on site Flight Test Control Engineers, modification coordinators and outside entities (both internal and external to Lockheed Martin) to ensure effective and on-time completion of projects. This position will augment flightline Maintenance Managers in their activities, maintenance and administration. Lesser or ancillary tasks as assigned.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience managing/leading personnel
  • Experience building workflows and schedules
  • Experience leading the execution of projects to a schedule and/or budget
  • Experience with Quality Management principles and GFRC/DCMAI 8210.1 requirements
Desired Skills:
  • Mix of experience with flight line and production/depot environments
  • Working knowledge and practical application of EVMS principles and methods
  • Fighter/Light aircraft experience
  • Strong understanding of heavy structures/machining methods and principles
  • MS Office including Project and Visio
