What You'll Do
DocuSign is looking for a Front End Engineer to help architect, build and enhance capabilities on the DocuSign’s core Sending experience. The Send Foundations Team charter is to revolutionize our current UX while keeping up with the ever-growing DocuSign user-base. This person will be working in a focused scrum team focused on creating elegant, yet simple user-interaction for complex workflows that will delight our customers. This person is able to seamlessly integrate into agile teams and work closely with all facets of the organization (products, back-end development, QA, UX, and Design) to achieve high quality results.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering and is designated Flex.
Responsibility
- Architect and design components for DocuSign’s core Sending experience
- Drive strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area
- Be responsible for sharing and adoption of best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional area
- Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical-design reviews
- Contribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systems
- Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Work as part of a passionate, agile development team to deliver engaging web user experiences
- Collaborate with our platform engineering teams to implement new features and to bring existing platform features into web platform
- Demonstrate strong focus on instrumenting features being developed to gain insights into usage pattern and feature success
- Work closely with quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes
- Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency, and robustness
- Participate in live site reviews and help implement new features and processes to improve site reliability
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
- Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
- Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products
What You Bring
Basic
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of product development experience building large-scale web applications
- 1+ year of experience developing JavaScript web applications
- Professional experience with client-side frameworks (React, Redux, Angular or similar modern JS frameworks accepted)
- Hands-on, professional experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and deployment tools
Preferred
- Experience designing and developing highly scalable web applications
- Professional experience with React
- Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with TypeScript
- Passion for UI with a good sense of usability and design
- Experience working with remote teams

Based on legislation in Colorado, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado pay range: $93,700 - $128,875 base salary
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in New York City only: New York City pay range: $100,000 - $137,575 base salary
Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in Washington only: Washington pay range: $93,700 - $137,575 base salary
Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in California only: California pay range: $100,000 - $157,950 base salary
