We are looking for ARPA Professional Engineers to join our team in the of the PWS Review Engineering Section of Water Quality for DEQ. The ARPA Professional Engineers are responsible for Performing professional engineering work requiring licensure. Consult, investigate, evaluate, plan, review or design engineering works and systems, such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, environmental systems, and structural components of buildings.

*****Please note this position is a temporary position with funding available only through 06/30/2025.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Licensed professional engineer as required by Section 37-67-301, MCA, and the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

  • Education and experience requirements as described by Section 37-67-323, MCA.

  • Preferred Experience in mining and/or environmental engineering.

  • Current valid Driver’s License and clean driving record in accordance with State of Montana Vehicle Use Policy

Salary: $ 81,347.00 - 87,057.00 Yearly
Telework Eligibility : Telework Eligible (Full-time telework is not available. Telework schedule must be supervisor approved.)
