Project Engineer - Manufacturing / Sturtevant, WI

Be a part of BRP Marine group’s Manufacturing Engineering team! Help advance BRP’s explosive growth in the Marine division, introducing revolutionary new products while upgrading legacy manufacturing processes into the digital age.

Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations and business processes (ideally in Marine, automotive, or similar industries), as well as strong CAD / PLM skills, ideally with a suite of PTC software products.

The role will work under the direction of the PLM Specialist and will maintain strong collaboration between the manufacturing and design teams.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and collaborating with equipment vendors.

Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods.

Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.

Implement and support document management, product structure, process plans and work instructions using PTC Creo and Windchill software.

Provide user in-depth knowledge, best practice, and user support of Windchill and Creo to the user community.

Create workflows in Windchill to align with engineering and business processes

Provide training to the users, when appropriate.

Work closely with the IT team and software vendors to resolve technical issues and implement new projects.

Perform other duties as assigned

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Bachelor’s (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline required.

Strong working knowledge of PTC Windchill and Creo tools required.

Experience with the use of 3D CAD programs to create solid models and 2D detail, assembly, and installation drawings required.

Experience with the use of PLM applications to create BOM models, process plans and work instructions required.

Experience investigating and developing system requirements required.

Deadline and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when communicating technical requirements and information.

NOTE: This is a 3-year project role supporting the development, integration, and start-up of our new manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, MX. This role is based in Sturtevant, WI and will report to the NPD Manufacturing Engineering group.

Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days in office.
