About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced event registration website developer. Cvent experience is a required. If you have built complex registration websites in Cvent, read on!
You will primarily build event registration websites and apps but may also be asked to build within a virtual event platform and other event technology software. We are looking for strong, client-facing consultants who can get to a ‘yes’ through critical thinking.

This is a virtual position. If you live in the Chicagoland area, you may be asked to work out of our downtown Chicago office a few days a week depending on the project.
What you will do
- Lead and project manage the development process for registration websites, apps, virtual event platforms, etc.
- Leverage the tools we use to achieve the optimal attendee online registration experience both for the front-end user and our administrative teams
- Speaking to and presenting on event technology tools to customers and coworkers
- Be a proactive, engaged, consultative and collaborative member of the assigned event team
- Learning and maintaining a current understanding of the event technology tools we use
- An aptitude for problem solving and untying technical knots
- Seeing the bigger picture on a project, seeing, and communicating potential client needs and solutions in advance of client conversations
- Managing and driving multiple project timelines
- Communicating… both in writing and verbally, with a variety of communication styles and can embrace ideas and opinions different than your own
- EventCore or other event registration tool build experience
- Hands on registration and reporting experience
- Previous experience supporting and building in mobile applications
- An aptitude for learning technologies
- HTML, CSS or Bootstrap experience
