KEY Responsibilities
We seek an Advanced Software Engineer who will work closely with a tenured experienced team of software, firmware, hardware engineers and architects to develop and maintain ELCN (Experion Local Control Network), C300PM, EHPMX product/process technology. Demonstrates technical breadth and depth in the Honeywell Process Solutions. Expert in Total Distributed Control TDC-3000 (or Total Plant Solution (TPS), or Total Plant Network TPN) technology with high level of competence in Legacy Migration development. Demonstrate expertise in elicitation and negotiation of the product requirements with the customers and partners.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in Product development engineering.
- Ability to understand/learn legacy system software and ability to write C, C++, windows, Firmware and embedded Linux code.
WE VALUE
- Knowledge on the Total Distributed Control (TDC),Total Plant Solution (TPS) and Experion will be an added advantage.
- Experienced in large scale legacy system migrations and deployments.
- Working knowledge in Virtualization, Performance characterization and automation.
- Experience working in an Agile Environment, Multi-tasking, Planning and working without direct supervision.
- Proven track record of Innovative mind set, Built-in Quality, excellent execution focus, and responsiveness to customers, team and management.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- The candidate should have good communication skills and have demonstrated this working with a global team of various functions, domain experts & multi-level management teams.
