Essential Functions:

As a Web Designer at TopSpot, you will support our Team and Customers to design websites that are geared toward generating the right kind of leads for each Customer, focusing on successfully meeting their short and long-term goals.

• Collaborate with the Web Team, Marketing Team, and Customers to ensure that web projects are designed and developed that meet and exceed the Customer’s needs – leveraging data to empower intentional and systematic design decisions.
• Create wireframes and designs based on competitive research and sitemap – with an ability to challenge
• Display strong knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, brand development, and the creative process.
• Design custom interfaces based on project scope and client requirements and expectations.
• Enhance existing interfaces with new layouts, interactions, and forms that present opportunities based on data analysis from Google Analytics, conversion optimization on A/B & multi-variance testing, and more.
• Collaborate with the Internal Marketing Team to design e-mails, promotions, online ads, and marketing collateral.
• Work closely with Designers on mockups to provide critical feedback.
• Participate in design reviews and other team-wide design efforts.
• Communicate effectively with clients – including interpreting their requests and expectations while providing them with timely and professional designs.
• Proactively communicate progress and milestone completion to Project Managers and Lead Designer.
• Must be comfortable working with Figma’s tools including auto layout, components, variants, and design libraries.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Web Design experience
• Familiar with user testing and leveraging data to empower design decisions and UX best practices.
• Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like MODX
• Ability to problem solve effectively and proactively using training, logic, judgment, and data to determine effective solutions
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Figma (or similar design and prototyping tools)
• Ability to create digital prototypes for website user paths, hover states, and interactions
• Proficiency of Adobe Photoshop
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
• Basic understanding of E-Commerce design layouts and standards
• Strong skills in experience design for mobile devices
• Knowledge of responsive design layouts and standards

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

• Background in CSS
• Experience with browser developer tools or extensions
• Experience with a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Modx, WordPress, Magento, etc.
• Experience with Google Suite such as Data Studio, Tag Manager, and/or Optimize a plus
